My hope is that we will see many disciples made here and around the world. We are a family of disciples living to make disciples. This is the Great Commission and our calling, as christians. Living Hope is blessed to get to be a part of opportunities that exist here in our city and those that are in places all over the world. In the next few weeks, we have the opportunity to engage in disciple-making opportunities here are far away. We can help get the Gospel to places all around the world and introduce people to the Lord we love that live here in our great city.

Gift for Christ is our annual offering that allows us to provide the resources needed to get our people on the ground in places where the Gospel is going. We have partners all over the globe that need our help in their work. We send teams almost every other week to go and share the hope of Christ. Gift for Christ helps offset the cost for those who go and it pays for the materials that are needed. Please be generous and provide the money needed to make these trips happen.

We will begin receiving the Gift for Christ on Sunday, November 6, during our morning worship gatherings in the Worship Center and Chapel. We will continue to receive gifts until the last week of December.

Another opportunity to introduce people to our hope is on Sunday evening, December 4. From 5 to 8p we are going have Living Hope’s “Not So Silent Night!” This is going to be an amazing event that you can invite friends and family to attend. Starting at 5p, we will have an outdoor concert along with seven blow ups for the kids, “lil-toot” train rides, s’mores by fire pits, corn hole and other games, and food trucks with great meals for only $5. All of that will be in the front parking lot. In the lobby we will have hot chocolate, cinnamon cider, and cookies. At 5:30, our choir and band will perform an amazing Christmas Concert. Then at 6:30, we will light the Christmas Tree out front, which will be followed by another outdoor concert. At 7:00, our worship leaders will perform another Christmas Concert and share some of their favorite Christmas songs. Throughout the evening the food and fun in the lobby and parking lot will continue. This is going to be an unforgettable event and a great way to introduce our friends and family to our church family.

Please save the date Sunday, December 4 from 5-8p and begin to invite friends and ask them to join you. It is going to be a lot of fun and a great way for folks to get to know our church family. We are going to need about 200 people to volunteer for one hour that night. If you would be willing to serve, please register online.
