My hope is…

Living Hope will be a healthy family of disciples making disciples that leads more people to anchor their lives and hope in Jesus Christ as we worship, connect, serve, equip, and multiply.

We will soon receive the results of our churchwide spiritual health survey. Thank you to everyone who took the time to answer the questions. This will give us a good picture of where we are as a church in terms of our spiritual lives. The elders and ministry staff are prayerfully seeking to discern God’s direction and determine how we can best care for Living Hope. We do so many wonderful things. We want to be wise and be ready to shepherd this flock to be healthy disciples who are making disciples.

God is at work through Living Hope! We are giving hope and help to those who are hurting. Every Sunday, thousands of people gather for worship hungry to experience the power of the Gospel. There are those who are being ministered to through the Hope Center for Pregnancy and Biblical Counseling. They are finding Living Hope to be a safe place to worship God and hear His word taught. There are strong believers discovering who God is and how He is at work in and through their lives. In between the most vulnerable and the most mature, there are people coming from unique perspectives and challenging situations to find a loving community where they can express their praise to God, pray with confidence, and be instructed in what is true. God is calling us and blessing us to be that church.

The needs in our church family and city are vast. In Christ, we can care for one another and be a beacon of hope to our community and world. The world is changing, but God is still the same. His purpose from the foundation of the world remains. As we stand on God’s word, serve in the power of the Holy Spirit, seek to honor the Father, and sacrifice in Jesus’ name, we will experience transformation in our own lives and relationships and see God bring hope and healing to people in need.

Please pray every day for Living Hope. Use the weekly prayer focus as a guide. Be willing to be the answer to what we are asking God to do. God has chosen to work through His people. That means what God is going to do will be done through those who are willing to be faithful to worship, connect, serve, equip, and multiply.
